Ethics Regarding AI and Disruptive Technologies:

Transforming Association Management

Taught by KU Law Professor - Michael Hoeflich

Artificial intelligence and other disruptive technologies have sparked significant discussions across industries, including the association world. As these innovations evolve, association executives must understand how they can enhance operational efficiency, improve member engagement, and streamline decision-making—or, if mismanaged, create new challenges. In this CAE-credit session, Professor M.H. Hoeflich will examine the broader impact of AI and emerging technologies on association management. Attendees will explore practical strategies for leveraging technology while navigating ethical considerations and organizational change in today’s rapidly shifting landscape.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Analyze the impact of AI and disruptive technologies on association management and organizational strategy.
  2. Evaluate opportunities and risks associated with integrating emerging technologies into association operations.
  3. Identify practical strategies for leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and member engagement.
  4. Develop a proactive approach to navigating technological change while maintaining ethical and strategic alignment.
This event has been approved for ONE CAE hour.
